Using myself as a model.. :)

Quick drawing inside a friends birthday card.

Using Watercolour pencils - I indeed added colour. My friend is a super chap,

who would do anything for anyone. He loves life so much (Having suffered

much pain in his life) and never stops in his creativity. For me, this

represents everything he is - Adventurous, a risk taker, and sometimes "a bit of

a dipstick." But a warm soul - who I'm sure would survive even this!! :)

A couple of hand drawn Christmas cards I did for friends. Just ink & coloured pencils on card :)

A Christmas card I did for a close friend Karen, based on a Monkey & Crab.

And here are Monkey & Crab in reality :) The monkey was made by the very talented Karen Hazeldine (from socks I believe) and the crab is a toy of hers too, so it seemed right to add these lovely characters to her card/illustration. Plus I enjoyed every minute of doing this work - such fun ^^

Original hand drawn sketch, before scanned and coloured.

First initial idea studies in notebook. As you can see, the original concept involved a rope and a panda "for some reason!!" Then as you can also see, I decided on crab instead. GOOD CHOICE I FEEL ^^
